New Halfbot game Mockup by DerekLaufman New Halfbot game Mockup by DerekLaufman
I thought I'd share a screen shot mockup I created for a new game we're making at Halfbot. I just posted a new blog on our site about indie development and our plans for this next game. Go give it a read if you are into that sort of thing.

I've been using Photoshop for over 18years. So it's my bread and butter. Illustrator ties your hands more as an artist but it allows you to produce vector art...which comes in handy for resizing images. However, I prefer the freedom Photoshop allows me. I just produce my art at a higher dpi to avoid any issues with resizing art.

hey derek I was just reading your comments below. When you're doing a mockup like this for a client is there any reason you'd choose photoshop over illustrator? do the games have to be created with vector graphics or it really doesn't matter?
